Siva invests a further NOK 100 million in Frier Vest

Frier Vest Holding AS strengthens its position with a new investment of NOK 100 million from Siva - the Company for industrial growth. With the investment, the state now has an ownership stake of almost 34% in Frier Vest Holding AS.

– This is an important step for further development of the industrial area. With Siva's new capital injection, we are even better equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future, says Øyvind Hasaas, chairman of Frier Vest Holding AS.

The increased equity contributes to strengthening Frier Vest's competitiveness as an attractive location for future green industry. Siva, which is already a significant player on the ownership side, has with this investment provided further support to ensure long-term and sustainable development of the area.

After the investment, Frier Vest Holding AS is now owned by Grenland Havn IKS (45.94%), Siva (33.94%) and Bamble municipality (20.11%).

Grenland has a long tradition in industry, and Siva's role in the region stretches back to their time on Herøya. Through its investments in Frier Vest, Siva wants to ensure that the area is developed more quickly and in a way that promotes sustainability and efficiency.

– Our vision is to contribute to the establishment of green industrial parks in a predictable and cost-effective way. Through close cooperation with the industry and other players, we facilitate innovative and forward-looking solutions for industrial buildings and industrial parks, says Jørstad.
